About Our Trips
Our Photo Workshops and Tours are designed by a nature photographer, for nature photographers. We try hard to achieve our goal: "The Best Photo Trips to the Greatest Locations on Earth!" We’ve chosen a select few truly superb locations, scouted out the best times and photo spots, and planned the Workshops and Photo Tours to maximize your photographic experience.

I personally believe that to get the best images you must maximize your time in the field. Besides skill, great photographs require the happy intersection of a number of factors – weather, light, subject, season. Success requires patience and perseverance – and sometimes plain old luck. To this end we have tried to design trips that spend a lot of time at our photo locations. By exploring an area in depth, we hope to give you maximum opportunities for it all to come together.

We have deliberately kept our group sizes small. This allows us to provide a high degree of personalized attention. It also prevents photographers from tripping over one another and gives you more space in which to operate.

What is the Difference Between a Workshop and a Photo Tour?
Our Photo Tours are designed to get you to the some of the best places anywhere for nature photography, and then give you plenty of time to photograph. While we’re always willing to provide assistance and guidance, the main focus of Photo Tours is not instruction. I will often be shooting alongside you – although your comfort and the quality of your experience is my first priority. There will be plenty of in-between time to answer questions and discuss photography. Indeed, we will probably learn a great deal from each other. But when the sunrise breaks through, or the action begins, you will want to be looking through your viewfinder with your finger on the cable release or shutter button.

Our Photography Workshops provide you with in-depth instruction in fantastic field settings. The main focus of our Workshops is learning – but because we go to great locations, you will certainly go home with wonderful images on film. Here especially, our small group sizes assure that you will have adequate time with the instructor and that your questions can be answered.

If you’re still wondering which trip is right for you, don’t hesitate to call, so we can help you choose.
